Just a heads up, these are the older dongle, so they'll only work with older Logitech mice. The newer Logitech mice use the Logibolt dongle. Make sure you know which one you need before buying.

These will only work with Logitech mice (and other Logitech peripherals) that have the Logitech Unifying symbol on them, which looks like this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wiki...fying.webp
There are many Logitech mice and other peripherals on the market that use a stand-alone dongle that are not part of the Unifying or Logibolt ecosystem. A few of the stand-alone can sometimes be added to one of the Logitech ecosystems, but it's rare.

Yup. Logitech really screwed the pooch by "retiring" the unifying platform for the bullcrap they're pushing now. Besides, it's always only for windows.

There were security reasons for dumping the Unifying line and moving to Logibolt. There was also a downloadable app for Unifying for MacOS (although no longer available), and there was the Chrome plugin allowing peripherals to be paired with a dongle, which could be added to any OS's version of Chrome. For Logibolt you have to install Logi Options+ (which I haven't yet needed to as I have no Logibolt peripherals), and Logi Options+ is available for both MacOS and Windows: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/so...tions-plus

Thank you for the detailed information, but nothing for Linux = hard pass.
I'm done with the manufacturers that don't support my OS.

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse with bolt but didn't have to install anything (luckily).
