Kids getting in to CDs. Literally saw kids picking through cds at Walmart yesterday. With that being said, I'd never buy this garbage. I'd go on fb and find amp/receiver, cd player and speakers that are are way higher quality and will cost you 20 bucks.

Yeah just get a DVD player/Wiim streamer with digital out , a chi-fi amp and some decent bookshelf speakers.

Yes. Literally all day. I find pairs of cerwin Vegas the other day for 20 bucks. Found a pair of bose at the dump a couple months back. I use Sony tower speakers in my living room I got for 20 bucks. In my kitchen I have a pair of psb I got for 25 bucks. My retro gaming set up I have a 2.1 Boston acoustic set, with the big sub woofer I got for 20 bucks. In my studio I have a pair of krk studio monitors I got for 50 bucks. And In my bedroom I have a pair of KLH I got for free with a pair of Sony bookshelf speakers which I gave to a friend. So yes for next to nothing you can get very good speakers on the cheap if you look.
