It's really nice, having the heat in addition to it being a fan is awesome so you can keep it out year round unlike heaters that you got to put away in the summer. I bought two of them actually both my kids love them. While they are powerful, they'll never beat a equivalent size regular fan with regard to air flow, so if you need massive amounts of CFM I would stay with the traditional fan. But these are awesome!
