i will say when comparing refurb'd against refurb'd we almost prefer ebay. they have an automatically included allstate warranty for one year. when one of the batteries on my kid's watch started degrading we filed for the warranty and was reimbursed. (they made us do a run-around to take it to a repair place in our area, but it turned out NOBODY repaired samsung watches. so once we communicated that, they approved the check. we had to send in the degraded watch and we got our check within 14 days). i don't think our amazon prime chase card has an extended warranty on it, esp for any used or open box products. if we buy anything open box or warehouse or similar from amazon we just use our amex and give up the prime 5% on our card.

Dislike the square bezel and round screen. Hopefully Watch 9 back to all round.

Same, ugly as hell. I'm actually hoping for an updated round case Classic version, until then I'll hold on my Classic 6.

So the 40mm one has a smaller battery capacity than the 44mm one, but is that difference negated by the size of the screen needing less power?

Generally, and including gen 7, no the smaller screen doesn't suffice to keep battery level flat - it'll be somewhat worse

Yup, you're right. I just checked, and you can get it from Samsung for $199. Although, I do have an additional work discount, that's why it comes out to $199.
