The switch is a magnetic ring that you twist to select between low medium and high. I assume to make it more waterproof without seams? Probably makes it pretty easy to use if wearing wetsuit/thick gloves. That's really cool.
This seems to be the lowest it's been (using the code) on Amazon looking at the price history. It does look like you could get this direct on Sofirn's website for a couple bucks more. But as mentioned before, shipping speed and convenience is a big factor for me and Amazon wins again.
