Thermalright's 360mm AIOs are framed as strong value coolers, with cooling and noise performance that can beat pricier rivals while staying inexpensive. The LCD screen version is also described as a pretty cheap way to get a water cooler with a display, especially for desk setups where temps, fan speeds, and pump activity are easy to see. The main cautions are that LCDs add another possible failure point and some newer Thermalright fans are described as very loud. A solid pick if you want performance first and extra display features second.

Common Questions (4)

  • Thermalright is known for strong performance at low prices, with its air coolers and case fans repeatedly cited as especially good value. Prior Thermalright coolers are also reported to have kept a 10700K under 60°C while gaming.

  • The LCD can be useful on a desk-mounted PC with a transparent side panel because it can show temperatures, fan speeds, and pump activity at a glance. It also adds another potential failure point, and basic system temps can be checked elsewhere without the screen.

  • The Thermalright 360mm AIO is described as the better pick for cooling performance, noise, and price, while the Cooler Master model does not add enough extra value to justify its higher cost. It is also reported to keep an i7-10700K below 60°C while gaming.

  • A used unit was received and returned, so buyers should inspect the packaging and condition immediately on arrival. That is a shipping/fulfillment risk rather than a product feature.

Never heard of this brand, so be sure to check reviews.
Thermalright is well known for their cheap but very well performing air cooler towers, such as Thermalright Peerless Assassin [amazon.com] and Thermalright Phantom Spirit [amazon.com]

Thermalright has been around a long time. I still have a case they made that had a massive amount of 80mm fans. This was before 120mm was the norm. Thing sounded like a jet engine.

Sounds like a you problem 😅 PC builders who've been around should know this to be a reputable brand that makes solid thermal solution products at good prices.

Yeah, Thermalright (not to be confused with Thermaltake) has been around for like 25 years.

Both are decent 360mm AIOs, but the Thermalright wins on cooling performance, noise, and price. The CM doesn't really offer anything extra to justify the higher cost.

Maybe I'm old, but I don't get LCD screens on coolers... Feels like it's just an extra point of potential failure. You don't need to monitor temp constantly... and you can see the temp from your PC anyways...

It's not for me either, but I can understand it for those who keep their tower (with transparent side panel) up on their desk at eye level. I do like keeping an eye on my various temperatures and fan speeds, and especially water pump activity.
