Not a bad price. It wasn't even that long ago that I paid $1200 for a 5120x1440 Asus while this is cheaper and definitely going to better image.

Buyer beware I have had 2 of the 49" G9 panels break under warranty and it has been more than a chore getting them replaced. Especially if you don't live near a service center. Buy the extra warranty through Assurant, keep your box, and don't let anyone jerk you around if it randomly bricks one morning.

I've read a lot QA issues with the G9 when doing research for an ultra wide just do your due diligence before committing.
