This under door draft stopper is a simple weather seal that works well when the surface is prepped carefully. The adhesive is described as strong, and it has held up on doors, including a garage door, with one setup reinforced by screws. It also helped block leaves from blowing under a settled garage door, and one installation stayed put even with a cat tugging at it. The main cautions are that the promo code must be applied to reach the advertised price, the install instructions call for waiting before opening the door, and long term hold can be uneven on a heavily used garage door.
Common Questions (4)
It can hold very well when the surface is prepped properly, and the adhesive is described as strong. One garage-door installation was also reinforced with screws, while another report says a unit fell off after about a month on a frequently used garage door.
Yes. The post-page discount can default to about 10% off, while the promo code is needed to reach the advertised deal price; without it, the checkout total may stay around $9.49 plus tax.
The install instructions call for leaving the door closed for about 12 to 24 hours after installation. One practical workaround is to prep the surface very well first, which can help it hold sooner.
It does not seem paintable based on the comments. No successful paint result is reported, so it may be best to treat it as a finished plastic strip rather than a paintable trim piece.
