This certified refurbished Roborock Q7 Max plus is a self emptying robot vacuum that can arrive spotless and like new, with strong cleaning performance and a two year warranty. The dock and unit have been reported in pristine condition, and the model has been described as a big upgrade over older basic robot vacuums. The main concerns are refurb quality and battery condition, since some worry about used units, wet or dirty arrivals, and expensive replacement batteries. Returns are easy and free, which softens the risk a bit.

  • The refurbished Roborock units can arrive spotless and like new, including the dock and vacuum body.

    BYoungSDshervinjSpaced_Inv8r

  • The vacuum can work well after delivery and provide a noticeable upgrade versus older non-mapping robot vacuums.

    PortabelloRoadSpaced_Inv8r

  • Some refurbished Roborock purchases can run flawlessly with heavy use over a multi-year period.

    peterp9538

  • Returns can be easy and free if the refurb does not meet expectations on arrival.

    hanabie

  • Certified-refurb units may not be completely clean, and warranty replacements can look nasty on arrival.

    slickdicks

  • Battery condition can be uncertain because remaining battery life is not guaranteed, and replacement batteries can be expensive.

    The_Sandster

  • Refurbishment quality can fail, including cases where the unit arrives wet or not properly refurbished.

    hanabie

  • Repair handling may involve third parties or service centers, which can create risk during warranty repairs.

I wouldn't trust this to be completely clean. I saw a pic of what roborock sent someone as a warranty replacement, and it was nasty. It could be fine though.

Makes me wonder if it went to their service center or a third party that does work for them, that's the worst when companies dont do everything in house. I have had bad experiences with service centers that work on these robo vacs for third parties (all state warranties/amazon), literally lied right to me about one unit I sent in for repair....

When they say "Pristine", or "Like new", my concern would be the condition of the battery. I can't find any statements about what percentage of remaining battery life is guaranteed. Anyone know? Replacement Batteries for this unit are EXPENSIVE.

Great point to consider. The Q7 was released in 2022 and the battery might be sub-par. Especially as they are constantly charged back to 100%. The only counter would be, how much battery does someone really need? Unless its dead of course, the battery may be plenty to clean their place.

I paid around $300 for this same refurbished model but it was over 2 years ago and it's been flawless. I used it a lot

You don't want to buy used robot vacuums. They come with all sorts of issues like battery life and in the rare case bed bugs. You don't know who's household this came from

Yeah, I would never consider a used robot vacuum. I'm also hesitant with some of their newer Roborock models. The one I bought many years ago is still alive while newer ones I've gotten and used minimally have had all kinds of errors, which have led me to hesitate before buying any more products from this company.

Got my vacuum today, qrevo maxv. It was wet and certainly it was not properly refurbished. I should have just bought it new from Costco.

Wouldn't the warranty cover this?

Every vaccum in my house (5 now? 1 robot per floor, two sticks) was purchased used. I have never had a single issue with the product or... uh... bed bugs? lol. no.
