Today, at least on my business account, there are a lot of battery packs with various ratings on discount. A few are less than this one. I'm not going to make competing link posts since I don't have personal experience with the options. I just wanted to point out the fact that one should search and not blindly think this is the best deal.

You're spot on = no deal. 2 pack for $16 (slightly lower mAh and no separate charger, but you get the idea)

Good deal on 2 batteries, but I bought a solar panel instead so I don't have to change the battery.

that sounds better for no hassles. Wondering if indirect light is enough power, or does it need bright sunshine to hit it?

At this time, I don't need additional batteries for Ring but I'm glad to know that aftermarket batteries exist for Ring.
Love Ring products, hopefully they are as good as the OEM's.

As long as the surface of the solar panel is clean and free of debris, it will collect energy and charge the battery during daylight, even when it's overcast outside. I have mine linked to the front door ring camera with fairly frequent foot traffic and it maintains 90%+ charge.
