These are great headphones if anyone is wondering. I've had them for about a year and the battery life is insane, the fit is comfortable on my big ass head, even for on-ear headphones and they're durable. No noise cancelling, but they have enough passive noise isolation for MOST environments.

These are good enough for basic listening. Best if you like the Marshall signature sound tuning, and design.

I have one of the Bluetooth speakers and the battery life on their products are insanely long. That and the sound quality are top notch.

I'm interested, but don't like that they only support the SBC codec.

Has anyone tried watching YouTube on an iPhone with the headphones? Is the audio lag bad because they don't have any of the premium CODECs such as AAC?

I've never noticed any lag

Any reason why buying this off eBay/bestbuy is better than buying directly from best buy?

Ebay is the best buy storefront. It's literally shipping from the same warehouse. There's no difference unless you have an ebay or best buy coupon.

Any comparison to the monitor 2 or 3 over-ears? Other than the difference between over-ear and on-ear, how do they compare?

I have tried both. Cmf is an over the ear headphones, has excellent audio quality, great nothing app with adjustments, and initially feels very good and comfortable. However, the ear cushions heat up a lot. In addition, I experienced some weird headache when I used them (not sure if its because of a more recent bluetooth 5.4 standard or something else). Ended up returning the CMF. The marshalls major iv are on-ear (so sits on your ear), doesnt have noise cancellation, support only an older bluetooth standard, and do not have a smartphone app support. However it sounds good, stays cool, and bluetooth doesnt give me a headache. If the heat and bluetooth dont bother you, I would select CMF. For my case marshall works a lot better and despite being on-ear, it is quite comfortable for me. For me, the marshalls are a keeper. YMMV.

Thanks. How's the fit? So I have larger head. I have really old Bose QC35 II (microsusb) that feel great but battery is dead. The CMF sounds great and the physical buttons are a plus. However, I can't wear the CMF for more than 2 hours from the pressure of it squeezing my head. How are the Marshall's for that?
