Purple on labels for Ortho and many other brands means it's good to go for Warm Season Grasses like St. Augustine and Centipede. Yellow means no go for those. Of course always read the label to verify. If you have warm season grasses this is the one you want.

Speed Zone or Speed Zone Southern depending what type of grass and your geographic location. Spray as label recommends. Add Prodiamine as pre-emergent control to take your lawn back.
