Amazon Grocery tomato sauce is a very cheap pantry staple that works well for everyday cooking and as a filler item for Subscribe and Save orders. The monthly discount can bring it to about 39 cents per can, and the six pack has been called the stronger value at around $2.32 to $2.88 total. The single can listing has also shown availability issues in some areas, while the six pack appears to be the safer way to get the deal. A solid basic buy if you want low cost sauce in bulk.

  • The 6-pack option can work as a practical Subscribe and Save target for reaching five items.

    BenO169

  • The sauce can be used frequently in cooking, which makes the low per-can price easier to justify.

    jpudlo

  • The Amazon Grocery brand is described as a mainstream tier with better ingredients, taste, and quality than the lowest tier.

    TheMoreYouKnow

  • The monthly discount can reportedly bring the price down to about 39 cents per can.

    Saberpilot

  • Subscribe and Save may be unavailable for the single-can option, which can block reaching a five-item threshold.

    texag09

  • The single-can deal can be less attractive than the 6-pack deal, making single purchases questionable.

    DontTaxBeer

  • The single-option listing can appear dead for some regions, even though the 6-pack may still be available.

not a slick deal. 👎👎👎 the 6 pack deal for $2.32 is far better. grab them before companies jump on the fake tomatoflation bandwagon ripoff schemes! who buys a single can of these anyway? https://slickdeals.net/f/19472256-6-pack-8-oz-amazon-grocery-tomato-sauce-2-62-0-44-each-w-s-s-free-shipping-w-prime-or-on-35?v=1&src=SiteSearch

good filler to get 5 S&S items
I now have 5 items in s&s. I should get 15% off on each now instead of 5%, right? does it show the corrected price when it's shipped? as of now it's showing the old price of 5% s&s discount on each.

In my experience, after you add the 5th S&S item, it takes a while for the price to update, but on your S&S dashboard page (under Deliveries tab) it usually says that it's updating.

Also, not all items qualify for the 15% discount. Even if you have 5 items, some would have 15%, some would only have 5%.

Am I the only one who doesn't really want to see a bunch of Amazon grocery items mildly on sale on Slickdeals? Grocery items go on sale all the time. They're deals. Tomato sauce being on sale is a slick deal?

Decent deal. Have to wonder about the economics of shipping these cans in small amounts but then again I don't run a multibillion dollar corporation.
