You're getting downvotes but you're completely right. The "performance" at the end not only ruins the entire movie but it drags on so long it's boring.

The ending was a big swing, and I don't think they totally landed it. But if you pay attention, the whole movie is surreal and impossible from the beginning. None of the hallways or doors make sense, or the view she has from her apartment. Her bathroom chamber doesn't make sense. Even that coffee shop she goes to doesn't make sense... why is it there? And where are all the friends or family in this woman's life?

The movie has a dreamlike quality and descends into a fever-like state by the end. I think it's just hard to notice because we're focused on the horrific things happening to a woman's body the whole movie.

My two cents. Doesn't mean you have to like the ending necessarily.

I would have turned this off when it started getting way too graphic with the nasty parts, but by then I felt invested in seeing how it ended. Then they whiffed on the ending.

Very well stated and my thoughts exactly. I enjoyed the ending and based on everything that came before it, mostly just the play-like props and visuals, I didn't think that the ending was a stretch at all. The extremity of it was appropriate and not out of place in my opinion.

so much naked in this movie.
I watched it on the plane. i felt like a creep because so much naked. but i was invested regardless of how gross it was at times lol. Still, overall i didnt care for the ending at all. completely ruined it.
