It's rated at a ridiculous 99,000 lumens. There is no way that's true.

Ummm, yeah, just no. At 99,000 lumens, this $14 headlamp would literally instantly catch on fire and melt. Even if it was able to produce 99,000 lumens (which is possible for extremely expensive lights used in industrial applications made from special alloys and using active cooling systems), it would require about 1,000 watts of continuous power (8.3 amps at 120v, which is the same draw as a mid-powered 4 1/2" corded angle grinder). This probably headlamp probably produces on the order of 10 watts and 500 lumens.

Picked 1 up. not bad for the price with integrated powerbank. my only complaint is a little heavy, the forehead pad in front is flat ( needs contouring, maybe use heatgun to form it or add your own padding.

For 13 bucks, why not give it a shot. Looking at the video reviews, it does seem to get bright.
