Last about a yr. Now it works intermittently.. I have to bang it on the table sometime otherwise it wouldn't light up. Probably wiring issues...

Our cats go crazy when we use our spark gap lighters. Ours emit a high frequency above human (at least old person) hearing. I can see the audio spike on the Spectroid app on my Android phone.
