This drill brush set is a budget cleaning attachment for showers, tile, grout, and other bathroom jobs, with the round brush standing out as the most versatile. It is repeatedly described as good quality for the price and effective enough to beat hand scrubbing on shower tiles. The black plastic and black tip can scuff or leave marks on nearby surfaces if pressure is too heavy, and the brushes may work better with an impact driver than a standard drill. A solid low-cost option if you use it carefully.
Common Questions (5)
It can scuff adjacent surfaces and leave black marks on tile and grout if you use too much pressure. It did not scratch one bathtub, so it appears safer on tubs than on harder scrubbing surfaces when used gently.
They may be too aggressive for painted deck surfaces if you press hard. The brushes are described as rougher/brittle and can leave marks on tile and grout, so a light touch is important if you want to preserve paint.
Yes, it is repeatedly described as good value at $7.99 and worth the price. The deal has also reportedly appeared during the first week of multiple months, so waiting may get the same price again.
It works pretty well for shower and bathroom cleaning, and the round brush is the most versatile for bathroom use. It can clean better than hand scrubbing, though some surfaces may still need a separate scrubber like a Scrub Daddy.
Yes. The attachments are reported to work better with an impact driver because it provides more torque and is usually lighter than a drill.
