This seems kind of price for me. 2+ years ago, I paid $250 for an 830 with the 840 beginning the newest. I think a good deal would be around $300. At $350, is ok if you need it. The 850 is about $500 now.
I can't imagine paying that much for something so easily stolen or broken.
Take it with you, or set its alarm, so it doesn't get stolen. Not sure what you'd have to do to break it, but it won't be "easy" under any normal riding circumstances.
