Does Amazon ever offer any good gaming desktop deals to pair these monitors up with?

Been tracking specifically 3440x1440 34 inch ultra wide monitors. Good price. Purchased, received, and currently using today. The is VA, however for my use and needs works perfect in my price range for needs. PIP/PBP works well with 2015 MBP and Xbox Series X - only thing I didn't have that I need for purchase is a Thunderbolt(MDP) to push 3440x1440 out in my case due to limitations on by 10+ year old HDMI port maxing out at 2560x1440. Cable will arrive tomorrow.
Definitely recommend based off my usage.

Just bought this a few weeks ago, haven't experienced most common criticisms of VA monitors. No noticeable black smearing (and I write code in dark mode, so I'd see it). Viewing angles are fine. I looked for IPS curved monitors in this price range and it seems like there basically aren't any with high refresh rates. I suspect cheap or old model VA panels are the source of criticism for these types of monitors.

A lot of these guys are just being tech snobs. The average person would have to purposefully look hard to find the "problems" these folks complain about.

Writing code is not were people notice black smearing. It's noticeable in motion in dark scenes. An example would be in Resident Evil or Dead Space or other horror games where most of the game is dark. That's were you would notice black smearing. I would know, I have a Samsung G5 1440p 144hz VA panel monitor and it is very apparent in certain scenarios. In light scenes with bright colors, it's not noticeable at all.

The classic video that people post on Reddit to show black smearing is white text on a black background. When scrolling you see the black smearing on some VA panels. Haven't seen it here, but I haven't played a game with dark scenes yet.
If you want a curved ultrawide monitor for less than $500, this is the one rtings and monitors unboxed recommend.
I really tried to find IPS and couldn't in this form factor and price range with high refresh rates. I don't regret my purchase. Only noticeable difference is the viewing angles, but I don't look at my monitor from a wide angle so that is fine for me.
