I'd like to know why and how an impersonal God created personal beings. What does science and philosophy of meditation have to do with Creator? It can be a helpful practice but that has no bearing on universal truth. Many religions practice meditation. Does that make all of them true?!! We are talking about a religious system founded by a guy who died of food poisoning.

How is the first question relavant? Couldn't one ask how an immortal God created mortal beings, and it would be equally unimportant?
Do most religions claim to be the one true religion and take offense to the existence of other religions?
Terrible title for a book. Just browse and listen on YouTube, find Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins. Get some eye and ear opener stuff from them

You would like to know why and how an impersonal God created personal beings. There is an answer to it, but if you search deeply. You haven't done enough meditation to understand. I'm not sure if you meditate. It appears you only have the intellect of it, but you haven't practiced meditation. But let me answer this directly: Yes it does make all religion true, if they all incorporate shamatha. Shamatha will facilitate the process of truth. Steps towards enlightenment.
You have to apply knowledge above the theory to be able to find the answer to the questions you are asking. I wish you luck on that adventure.
There's no discussion about the one true church, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, so I'm out
As a devout follower of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I too was skeptical before doing a Vipassana meditation camp. I now meditate daily and still accept only Spaghetti Monster as the true god if there is one. There is no contradiction between these two.
