American Optical sunglasses are classic, lightweight aviator-style frames with a long military pedigree, and the nylon lens versions fit the price well. The nylon lenses are lighter than glass and avoid the extra nose bridge weight that can make glass pairs feel heavy or slide down. Glass has the old-school look, but it is described as heavier without better performance. The main deal wrinkle is that the original coupon stopped working, though a new promo code was later posted.
Nylon lenses can feel lighter on the face than glass lenses, which helps comfort during wear.
Paying through the PayPal app can add an 8% cashback offer for Eyedictive.
Glass lenses can deliver an old-school look, while nylon can avoid extra nose-bridge weight.
A new promo code was reported as available on 5/29, which can restore discount eligibility.
The coupon code can fail to work, which can remove the expected discount at checkout.
Glass lenses can feel heavy and may slide down the nose during use.
The current models reportedly use nylon lenses rather than glass lenses at this price point.
Nylon lenses may be described as fancy plastic, which can disappoint shoppers expecting true glass.
