This heavy duty camping chair stands out for sturdy construction, thick fabric, and handy extras like pockets and cup holders. The alloy steel frame and bar strength draw praise, and it feels comfortable for outdoor events and everyday sitting. Fit and capacity are the main caveats, though, since the advertised 500 pound rating is questioned and some taller users find their feet do not reach the ground. It is also fairly heavy at about 10 pounds, so it is less convenient to carry around.
Common Questions (4)
The chair is advertised at 500 lbs, but one comment says it is really closer to 300 lbs. Another user at 250 lbs found it sturdy, so it appears suitable for heavier use but the full 500-lb claim is questionable.
Fit depends on height: one 5'6" user said their feet touch the ground with no issues, while another comment says people around 5'8" to 6'3" reported their feet not touching the ground. Taller buyers may want to check seat height before ordering.
It weighs about 10 pounds and uses alloy steel, so it is not especially easy to lug around. That weight helps explain the sturdy feel, but it is less convenient for frequent carrying than a lighter folding chair.
Yes, it has lots of pockets and cup holders, which makes it practical for kids' outdoor sporting events and similar long sits. The extra storage is one of the features called out as a reason to buy two.

For those who like to travel light and camp far away from car access roads than 10 lbs is a lot to lug.
Why judge others by what's good for you!
