This 65 inch LG OLED at $799.97 stands out as a strong value for getting OLED picture quality at a relatively low price. The B5 and C5 comparisons suggest the gap is small in everyday viewing, with the C series mainly brighter in short bursts and not dramatically better for full screen brightness. Local pricing has also shown lower tags around $500 to $629, so the current price may not be the floor. Costco warehouse stock and app availability have been unreliable, and manager markdowns may not price match.
65-inch OLED shoppers at Costco who want a strong value around the $800 mark because multiple commenters say the price has held near $800 for weeks and they consider it an excellent deal even for the B-series (with differences that won't be noticeable at this price).
People comparing LG B5 vs C5 who mainly care about overall picture quality because commenters who own both say they can't tell much difference in picture quality and that the C-series only really makes sense when it's close in price.
Costco members who want to bundle extra value with the purchase because one commenter discussed adding a 3-year protection plan and using deal credit toward a MacBook or a swap option.
Buyers who are comfortable using Costco's app/warehouse inventory and can act quickly because one commenter said they ordered immediately after a similar LG 65" model dropped from this kind of price to $499 at another retailer.
Shoppers who rely on the Costco app's "IN STOCK" label to plan a trip because a commenter warned the app status was inaccurate at two locations (showed in stock but none available).
People expecting to price match this deal at other stores because a commenter said these are manager markdowns and they won't price match other stores.
Buyers who are specifically chasing the brightest possible full-screen performance because commenters note the C-series brightness advantage is mainly in bursts (like explosions) and full-screen brightness differences are small.
Samsung-focused shoppers who think LG OLED at this price is not competitive because one commenter compared it unfavorably to a Samsung S90F they saw for over $900 and said the Samsung was "much better."

The costco by me had 6 of these that haven't moved since it hit $800 and they just started putting out the new models last week.
Checked about a week later and it dropped to $499 so ordered thru the app and went and got it immediately. It was the last unopened new unit.
I'm hoping the 77" gets to around this price possibly?!
