Sadly, the dev studio had massive layoffs during production of Breaker, causing it to never get finished. Really shady business practice to keep it listed as early access when it will never get finished, hence the Very Negative reviews. The development of Possessor(s) suffered from this too, but they tried to finish the game regardless. The initial game is great, but feels rushed/unfinished, hence the mixed reviews.
If you are familiar with Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash, do NOT buy this game expecting a similar experience. You will be disappointed.
