This model is C113. Always list the model# because they somehow all look the same but different models. Almost bought one before thinking it was C120.

I also recommend. Have 2 and they work great. Occasionally need to reboot them but it's no problem.

Anyone here switch to Tapo from Eufy? Interested in doing so. They both have the the thing I value most (no subscription), and from all my research, it appears that the quality of the camera themselves are similar, but Tapos are a LOT cheaper. Tapo app seems decent too.

I got one of these a couple of months ago as an ONVIF camera for a Synology DiskStation, they're not bad for $20. They won't switch over to the IR camera on their view of an urban school field, which is actually kind of a recommendation, because the color camera keeps going and does OK. I wouldn't actually put it outdoors in an exposed location, the USB-C cable connection doesn't look it'd hold up to actual outdoor crud. Maybe under an overhang.

It does seem to have dropped its wifi connection a lot more than the C210 I have, but it has reconnected OK so far.

I don't think so, which is sad. I believe the only way is to (somehow) do some Android emulation.

Me. I switched to tapo because eufy became less responsive with alerts and was less accurate. This is understandable as devices aren't forever, so they slowly degrade them. I expect tapo to do the same in a few years as well

And you like Tapo better? How about between the apps?

Main neg is that notifications don't have pictures. You have to pay for this on tapo. Main positive is that some Tapo cameras are now in the 21st century and accept 5Ghz wifi. You can automate with your other tapo devices. At the end of the day, I expect the cameras to slowly get crappy, so you kind of just have to pick your poison. Every camera I bought that did not have a subscription, the company slowly killed the features/accuracy over time

Forgot to add: i do like tapo having a car detection and pet detection built in. Eufy has this also but as an add on. I think their new cams might have this as a feature. Not 100% sure though.

verify this is true for this tapo model though!!!
