Community Reviews

This Dell OptiPlex Micro is a compact Windows workstation that fits tight spaces and works well for tasks like Zoom or an HTPC setup. The small chassis is easy to upgrade with two SODIMM slots, and the RAM can reportedly go up to 64GB. The main drawbacks are the refurbished $499.99 price, only 512GB of storage, and no room for a GPU. The memory spec also appears to be DDR4, not DDR5, which makes the value feel less compelling.

Is the RAM upgradable to 32GB on this? update: looks like up to 64gb according to spec page. Holy cow though! current of cost of extra RAM is pretty ridiculous :/. Dang data centers!

Dell Optiplex micro with 32gb ram refurbished are pretty good little machines if you need windows. But if you are not set on windows, the Mac mini for $499 is a much better (and smaller and quieter) machine imo. I've used both.

Not feeling this one , $500 if new would be fine. $500 for a refurbished unit with only 512 GB. Nah
