They are pretty good quality, especially for the price and you can buy a 3rd party adaptor to use the batteries on dewalt

Solid deal, have been using for past 8 years never let me down, it was comparable to dewalt xr series. Comes with one battery sometimes pain to keep it switching, it's wise to get another one.

I have Kobalt tools from years ago that still work. Craftsman too. If they ever fail, which I doubt, maybe I'll look at Milwaukee or Dewalt.

Yeah I've had 24v line since dec 2019. Got the greatest deal on the planet back then. 6 tools, 1x4ah, 1x2ah, charger and a roller zip up bag which fit all the tools for $199. Impact, drill, multicolored, oscillating saw, circular saw and flashlight. Not had 1 problem since then and have acquired up to 14 tools and 12 batteries.

As I got more Kobalt tools, quite a few of them only had versions for sale that included more batteries and didn't have a tool-only package available, so now I have a few too many batteries, which I guess is better than not enough...

Why would you move to another brand if Kobalt worked so well for you?
