I don't think this is a bad deal. I just think that for $10 more, this Toolan saw at Amazon is worth the extra money. It holds hack saw blades, recip blades, and t-shank blades (the Kobalt doesn't hold t-shank blades). Rock solid mechanism, no wiggle, super quick change. Comes with quite a few halfway decent blades, too. Well reviewed on Amazon and YouTube. And me. Smilie

Nice. I just ordered the Toolan saw now. This would definitely come in handy for cutting corroded bolts in tight spots under the car. I like all the versatile blades it can work with. I have never seen a multi saw like that before.
  • I do have the popular highly rated Milwaukee compact hacksaw 48-22-0012 that I do like a lot. It has the locking lever small frame which helps the blade remain rigid but sometimes that outside frame can get in the way in some tight spots. The Milwaukee is strictly hacksaw blades too.

When would you use a jigsaw blade manually?

I was thinking the same thing. The jigsaw metal blade says 3". If you are in a real tight spot where the 6" or 7" blade is being interfered, a 3" blade could help. The 3" blade also says scrolling wood.

we all know we buy tools so we 'can', not because we 'need'. just like making things with a 3d printer.
