Be careful. Like a sleazy butcher who puts his thumb on the scale or an unscrupulous car dealer who rolls back the odometer to cheat customers, Amazon uses bait and switch tactics by advertising new fresh batteries and delivering old ones. I bought 24 PowerMax alkaline batteries from Amazon and got 2 year old ones. With 20% gone from their 10 year guaranteed shelf life, I was short changed. Especially since alkaline batteries lose potency as they age even if they are not used. Amazon refused to print my review even though I revised it to comply with its requirements. Amazon refused to issue a refund unless I returned this old junk. Amazon is a coconspiritor to these shoddy merchants encouraging these illegal activities by encouraging the sale of old stock as new, it's prioritizing these I'll gotten revenues over their duties to its customers
