These refurbished LG OLED deals stand out for near new panels at sharp prices, with several sets arriving at zero to a few dozen hours and picture quality described as excellent, bright, and like new. Free delivery applies on larger orders, and some units even came with full LG warranty or a clean inspection. The main cautions are the short 90 day warranty, uncertain panel history, and occasional cosmetic or accessory issues. Transport and return logistics for a 77 inch OLED can also be a hassle, so the savings matter most if pickup and setup are easy.

Common Questions (6)

  • Panel hours vary widely, from 0-2 hours on some units to hundreds or even 3,000+ on display models. You can check the hours in the TV settings before keeping it, which helps judge whether the refurb is effectively near-new or heavily used.

  • OLED burn-in is not fully solved, and refurb inspections may miss panel problems that would be obvious on an LCD. The deal is most practical when return logistics are easy, because repacking and hauling a 77-inch TV back can erase the savings.

  • A 77-inch OLED is tight in a midsize SUV and may not fit with the box; one 77-inch C4 fit in a minivan but was snug, and another 77-inch C3 fit in a Touareg only without the box. Transporting it flat is risky for an OLED, so a truck or delivery is safer.

  • The listing can show only a 90-day manufacturer warranty, but some buyers report receiving full LG warranty coverage or choosing Micro Center's 2-year warranty for extra protection. A 90-day refurb warranty is still a real concern, so checking the exact coverage at pickup matters.

  • Credit card extended warranties usually do not extend to refurbished items. If you want longer coverage, a store warranty or manufacturer coverage is the safer route.

  • Micro Center free delivery applies to orders of $499 or more on 65-inch and larger TVs. That can reduce the hassle on a 77-inch set, especially since pickup and transport are difficult.

I doubt you can lay it down this being an OLED!
I work for UPS. If you think they don't lay TVs down and throw them around then I have a bridge I wanna sell you.

Use a Citi credit card that adds 2 years to the warranty. https://share.google/aimode/qpc2oTVXaidG9O3Em
But does it cover refurbished items? Seems like only extension to manufacturers warranty.

Beside not fitting in your car, why did you return the G5?
I got the G5 OLED from Best buy it was display model with 3000hrs usage and I noticed some subtle screen issues. It was missing the remote back, no stand or wall mount. After the gift card it was just over $700. It had no box so got in car easy easy. Flat on long outdoor thick cushion.
It certainly was stunning, brightness was crazy high, build quality and design would make it very very flush to the wall.

I picked one of the 55 inches up today to replace my 55 inch CX model. I ended up getting the 3 year warranty also just in case. Was still cheaper then anywhere else after tax.

The TV I got had 10 hours on it so not bad, looks in really good shape except for the remote which has a bunch of scratches on it.

**edit** found a small dent in the bottom corner of the TV. Now I'm wondering if I should keep it.

Seems stock levels can fluctuate. Houston was out of stock earlier but last night I managed to reserve one. Going to check on its condition in store before paying

You can't bring a 77-inch home in a midsize SUV, and I doubt you can lay it down this being an OLED! It's a good deal, but it's a one-year-old model, refurbished, with no free shipping. Too much of a hassle! Not for everyone. But if it works for you, great!
You can lay oleds down! We put them screen down on the box length wise with the flaps opened up and balance it to put wall mounts on. Never had a problem! In the box you can lay them flat screen side up!

Really hard to know if this is really a good deals. No way of knowing what happened to the TV. Maybe the panel already has 500+ hours in it, but the just changed the mainboard.
You can look up panel hours in settings! Then return if its high, up2 someone if thats worth it

Be warned, some of the panels can have high hours on them.
What do you consider high hours? If not watching news daily oleds last a really long time. Mine has over 3k hours

This. Burn in is mostly mitigated with the C4+, but it's still far from solved - and there is a variety of OLED issues that would go undetected on a refurb inspection that a regular LCD would clear.Fine if it's easy to return, but by the time you get this repackaged and back in the truck/hauler and into Microcenter, you're probably willing to give someone a few hundred bucks to get all of that time, effort and gas cost back. I have a 77" C1 - absolutely stunning sets even on that gen, but you'd have to pay me a lot to go through the hassle of re-installing it due to a warranty return, even 5 years after purchasing it.
Burn in is mostly from watching news! Haven't seen burn in on a OLED since the C1!

I returned the G5 display model and then grabbed a C5 55 yesterday. Box was impossible to fit in sedan due to length/ size was too tight to get past trunk lip.I was one of the idiots in the parking lot. I should have use my truck but was lazy.It basically has no usage. I didn't check until this morning and it showed 2hrs. I watched more than an hour last night and some this morning. It might have been 20 min usage from their testing at refurbished procedures?I wonder if they replaced or updated the board firmware to reset the clock? The picture is perfect. The g5 physical design was better to very close to wall mount. I don't like wall mounting anyway. That was a great great panel but even with the 3000hrs of a display model. The c5 is still so bright I'll need to use the eye protection settings. My plasma has finally been replaced. I really don't watch much TV but figured why not.Now to Make more $ and savings to "pay" for this back into my savings.
Dont dumb down the picture! You will regret it. Your eyes will adjust just give it some time gpa!

500 hours would be 8 hours a day for 2 months or "5 PM to 10 PM" for 3 months. My occasional-use LG B3 in my guest bedroom has 1309 hours and looks factory fresh. I believe the B3 (one of the lowest-end) panels are rated for 80,000 hours. 500 is still new car smell territory.

Anyone have experience with buying refurbished from Micro Center?
I bought a refurb a while back and wouldn't do it again. Developed some random vertical lines after just a few months.
