How has this thread on a vacuum been up for like 6 minutes and nobody has yet posted, "this deal sucks"??

Seriously though, I've had this vac for a few years and I love it, strong little dude. Good price. Just know it's not a wet vac, only dry for this guy.

How is this for hardwood floors? Is it known for scuffing them? Could you replace sweeping with it?

Nope. It's this price or a bit higher when it's on sale. I paid $109 for the Slickdeal from Amazon. That said, I really like the vacuum, and it's just a handy thing to have around.

Don't know about hardwood, but I've used it on LVP flooring and no issues over two years. Using a 4AH Dewalt battery I can run it for a little over 15 minutes and I got plenty of those batteries.

Gotta be careful with these, some have a faulty flap that keeps the stuff from falling back out. I had one, loved it until I put it down and everything fell out onto the RV couch.

I went with the same price at Home Depot. It's on their springsale markdowns. Go to the store and its still $129 on shelf confirmed by ancient sales lady. Ok leave it locked in the cage I must return home, order online, then go back to get the advertised price. Crazy how things go these days. I first checked price of filters and ordered a 4pack with 8 prefilters for $16 on Amazon that have good ratings. I'm tired of the long cords for the better shopvacs for simple outdoors jobs. We've switched to cordless for touch up inside also but don't want to use the wifes for outside dirt 😬😡🤬

Have this for the garage for quick car clean ups. I have small kids and the opening gets stuck a lot more than a Dyson stick vac. Without pounds of Cheerios most will be fine.

Mine arrived today. After vacuuming my car floor mats and carpet, initial impression is suction power was certainly adequate with the narrow hose attachment, but it struggled with the wider brush attachment. (The vacuum refused to pick up a few little pebbles until switching to the narrow head.) Overall less powerful than my Ridgid 4 gal. shop vac, but more portable and convenient. The led light helped since I was vacuuming after sunset. It also accepts Ridgid attachment heads. Can't comment on battery life yet. But altogether I am happy.

This DeWalt vac is basically my car's emergency response team. Perfect for quick cleanups, especially the back seats that go from spotless to "what happened here?" in record time. Dang kids.
