Community Reviews
Sta-Green Premium Mulch is a budget mulch deal that stands out for the 2 cubic foot bags, especially if you can pick it up or get free delivery on six bags or fewer. The larger chunks help it stay put better than finer mulch, and the colored mulch looks good around the house. The main knocks are inconsistent bag quality, with reports of mold, water damage, light black color, or chunky pieces, and delivery can be canceled when orders go past the free limit. A practical option if you want coverage and can work within the pickup or delivery rules.
Gardeners wanting larger mulch chunks that stay put better, because the pieces are chunky and hold position better than finer mulch.
Homeowners refreshing a yard border or front lawn, because the mulch is described as decent quality and easy to spread in bulk.
People buying a lot of mulch for pickup, because the bags are 2 cubic feet and free pickup avoids delivery charges.
People mulching around ornamental beds for a neat look, because the colored mulch is used around the house when appearance matters.
Shoppers needing a large delivered order, because free delivery can stop at six bags and larger quantities may trigger a charge or cancellation.
People expecting a fine-textured mulch, because the pieces can be very large and chunky.
Gardeners who want a uniform black finish, because the black color can look very light and barely brown.
Buyers who need every bag to arrive clean and dry, because bags can have white mold, water damage, or rips.

Googling around after getting zero answers (really, none) from their "customer service" number, it looks like this has been an issue with Lowe's for years, system bots deciding no more soup for you.
So I paid a little more and ordered mulch from Home Depot, also with free delivery, and no bizarre shenanigans.
