WTF even is this?? According to the link the president of the company's name is Mike. What did him and his best buddy get wasted and were like "wouldn't it be hilarious if we ran a promo that works ONLY for guys named Mike?!?! HAHAH DUDE NO WAY I DARE YOU"
Normally the Name of the Day promo they do is awful because recently its only been BOGO and only available to a random fraction of the population, with people with more obscure names almost never getting the benefit of it. But at least a decent chunk of people would be able to use it over the course of the promotion.
This somehow manages to be a worse promotion, being for a flat out FREE sub to only people with a single first name. I just can't understand what they expect to gain from a promo like this. You give away some free subs to a bunch of guys named Mike, maybe a few of them buy another of sub, but most don't. The other 99+% of your customers are either completely unaware of it or it pisses them off.
