FYI this doesn't have the heat function. If that matters to you.

We have this. It's cool, pun intended. Seriously, we use it vertically outside our bathroom, during summer in Florida, our bathroom is the furthest point from the AC, and it blows in two different directions at each of our sinks, and my wife now likes it horizontal by the wall, pointing at our bed to have a breeze, like off the ocean, that isn't as compressing as our ceiling fan.

How loud are these? Similar to the large Lasko oscillating tower fans?

I used to think they were using some sort of electron manipulation to achieve these bladeless fans. And then I asked Ai and it told me that it actually has an impeller in the base, it just uses aerodynamics to create a stream where it forces it out of the crack in the blade. A lot of mysticism was removed today.

And then you have a bunch of fans and noise all around you. For $0 you can sleep outside, too. The less you spend, the more options you sometimes have, but that doesn't mean they're all good ones.

Does anyone know the energy usage of a fan like this on low and on high?

Agree to some certain extent. I have a Lasko tall standing fan and it works flawlessly for the last 10 years for just 15 bucks on sale at that time. The problem is my house has a modern/contemporary look and every time I pass by that fan its design triggering my OCD and make me want to get rid of it so badly. Went with Dyson fan and recently Dreo.

For anyone who want to have more power and care about smart features, I highly recommend
Dreo fans. Stronger winds than this ( I tested this model so many times at Costco). Besides, depends on model but Dreo fans supposed to be cheaper and run quieter in its lower setting too (for whoever picky about noise when they sleep)
