Picked one up yesterday. Takes up a decent amount of space (3'x3'), and the tubing makes it a bit awkward to find a good spot in the house (the hole is on the back, opposite the door, so you can't put it right up against a wall or corner). The steamer itself is just a basic water boiler - ours doesn't have any issue fully sealing like some of the reviews mentioned. Haven't gotten in yet as we're letting it offgas for a few days, but pleased with it so far, especially at this price

More landfill junk designed to fail in a year.

This portable steam sauna is a compact at home steam setup that gets hot fast and can deliver a strong sweat for far less than a full sauna. Setup is simple, and the unit can be satisfying for regular steam sessions when used with distilled water and dried out after each use. The main drawbacks are its bulky footprint, awkward hose placement, and ongoing cleaning and drying chores. Mold, residue, rust, and even melting or cracking parts are all reported concerns, so it works best if you are diligent about maintenance and returns.

I tried this out last year, ended up returning because unless you want to clean it often (which is not easy), I think it will grow mold

I got one last time when it was Onsale at 100. It is easy to setup and use. Like it. But it takes space.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I bought this in December for $199 and have used it at least a dozen times. A helpful tip: let the unit fully fill with steam before getting in, it takes about 10 minutes on the highest setting. I also place a towel on the bottom to catch condensation and keep things tidy.
So far, it's been great and absolutely worth the money. Cleaning hasn't been difficult either. I use Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Vinegar Gel Cleaning Spray to wipe everything down.
My only real complaint is the chair it comes with. I'm not a big fan of it, so I'm planning to switch to a teakwood bench, which seems to be a better option for sauna use and easier to clean.
Absolutely worth it for $100, no regrets at $200.

I have the old model. I paid $300 at the time. Still works great after 2 years. About 20 minutes is all I can take before it starts to get uncomfortable.

The black is still $180. The beige was $150 since at least a few days ago. Was going to buy at that price and then saw the even steeper discount yesterday
Black one is more expensive, does anyone know if that is cause the main hose is beefier?

Pretty sure they're exactly same besides the fabric color. Costco just chose to only clearance the beige for whatever reason

Unless it's sealed just like a fiberglass shower enclosure or similar, they're all going to have mold issues if you're not extremely diligent about maintenance.
