I have this TV and I'm not a fan. The hardware is decent, but the software is obnoxious. It constantly wants to start with TV mode so it starts blasting whatever commercial is on when we turn it on. As far as I've found we would have to completely disable live TV which we watch on occasion. You can set it to turn on to whatever source you used last but it only applies to sources (i.e. HDMI or live TV). It would completely resolve the problem if it would open to an app but it doesn't do that. For some reason the Youtube app use to be fine but for some reason a few weeks ago it started having a delay before the sound kicks in at the start of every video. I like the concept of the art mode, but it still looks like a TV displaying art. Very rarely does an image look like a painting at all. I've seen other TV's that do this MUCH better (a Hisense model for example, but I forget which one). The one connect box thing has worked surprisingly well for us despite reading negative experiences online. That is one nice thing about it.

And all of that is after I got the TV for free through a weird series of events. Plus, it replaced a TCL Roku TV that was almost a decade old. That's how low the bar was.
