I had the Rockwell-branded version of this (https://www.rockwelltools.com/pro...letop-saw/) and I would NOT recommend it. I bought it for $75 about 4 years ago, and even for that price it's bad. This thing uses standard jigsaw blades, which I thought would be nice, but it's completely unusable. It's very light, and because of the reciprocating motion of the blade, it shakes horribly and is extremely loud.

A 8-1/4" portable table saw would give you much more capability and flexibility.
