One recommendation I have to make the game easier for the first round, I would have them focus on 2 actions (upgrade realm and advance evil plan) If you advance your evil plan 4 times, that is how you win. There are 2 other actions (fate opponent and defeat hero) this is basically putting a blocker on a space and removing blocker. Obviously could be a very strategic play but I would ignore the first round or two to make it easier to pick up for the younger ones.
Plus I'm happy to add this to my collection! Just need to hunt down the last expansion I need now!
