I have a whole bunch of dreo fans in the house. while the "smart" functions may seem silly at first, they actually allow for some handy functions that you wouldn't otherwise have with remotes alone. For example, programing a specific range of oscillation motion (X and/or Y), scheduling speed thoughout the day and night, (including on/off functions by clock and even by temperature). You can even "steer" it remotely though the app to aim it just right (which seems stupid but is actually handy when your riding a stationary bike and dont want to break stride / walk across the room to adjust it manually).

You dont NEED to use any of it, but its there, and its pretty reliable.

And lets face it, paying $70ish dollars for a 'Brushless' fan is a pretty great deal all on its own - these things run for years and years and they are super quiet.

DREO's TurboPoly pedestal fan stands out as a quiet, brushless DC fan with strong airflow, useful oscillation control, and a remote that covers most needs without opening the app. The smart features add scheduling, temperature based control, and app steering, while the non smart version is still appealing for anyone who just wants a traditional fan. At max speed it gets louder, the warranty is only one year, and the shortest timer setting is one hour. Overall, it reads as a capable bedroom fan with more control than a basic pedestal model.

I don't see a 353S model on Amazon. It's just 353 (not smart as in WiFi capable).

i think the more equivalent amazon model to this @ costco, would be the '551' cuz the 551 has a 8" blade. 94.99$ is what i see @ amazon.

I have the DREO 513S pedestal fan and bet this one is awesome, too. Huge upgrade from tower fans in the right setting - my dreo towers just blew air mostly in to my mattress and bed frame with very little reaching me.

Also.. go smart if using in a bedroom and you already have a smart home. Being able to adjust the fan speed without opening your eyes is the bees knees.

I'm going to give this a shot, looks like it has good options for speeds and oscillation. Not a fan of using an app for a fan but at least this one looks to have a decent app, will see...

We have a smart Dreo fan and use it via Alexa voice commands all the time. I think it was a great investment at $100, this price is a no-brainer (IMHO).

Not a comparison but this video [youtube.com] is pretty good at showing the Woozoo features. He mentions it was recently on sale. What I noticed is it is quiet and it has a five year warranty, Dreo's warranty is only one year, but Dreo should be pretty quiet too and has better features.

I like the remote, the app has additional controls, especially the ability to control the angle and center point of horizontal oscillation. The smallest swing angle is only 30 degrees, but good enough for what I want.

Is the Woozoo at Costco also a brushless DC motor too? it lists 35dB at the lowest setting while Dreo is 20dB. Is 15dB noticable?
