DREO's TurboPoly pedestal fan stands out as a quiet, brushless DC fan with strong airflow, useful oscillation control, and a remote that covers most needs without opening the app. The smart features add scheduling, temperature based control, and app steering, while the non smart version is still appealing for anyone who just wants a traditional fan. At max speed it gets louder, the warranty is only one year, and the shortest timer setting is one hour. Overall, it reads as a capable bedroom fan with more control than a basic pedestal model.

  • The fan can run very quietly at bedroom-friendly settings, with level 2 being enough for sleep use.

  • The remote provides full practical control, including horizontal oscillation angle adjustments in four steps.

  • The smart functions add scheduling and temperature-based control without requiring constant app use.

  • The brushless design at around the $70 price point is described as a strong value for long-term use.

  • The smallest horizontal oscillation swing angle is limited to 30 degrees, which may not suit wider coverage needs.

  • The timer minimum is reportedly one hour, so a 30-minute sleep timer is not available.

  • The Dreo warranty is only one year, while a competing model is described as having a five-year warranty.

  • The fan can get a little loud at maximum speed, even though it remains usable for high-output drying.

ive now got this dreo on the way so ill play around with it. other than mini vornado fans and a vornado floor made in usa thing, and someone in the house bought a generic full plastic tower fan 8 yrs ago, havent spent money on fans in years. curious to feel and hear how rattle free or not this thing is. the best were panasonic fans.

Just got mine. Very nice so far, quiet for the air it puts out. At max, it gets a little loud though still good for the air it's putting out at max where it might be used only if you're pouring sweat or trying to dry wet carpet. And very efficient, according to my Kasa power plug readout: .61 watt when off; about 2.6 in speed 1; and each step increase wattage by mostly two to three watts, reaching 19.6 in speed 9; then jumping to around 30 watts in "max." Turning on vertical or horizontal oscillation will add about two watts each. So everything maxed out and running it's using about 35 watts give or take a couple watts.

The remote can control the range of horizontal oscillation in four steps, minimum is 30 degrees, max I think is 180, plus the usual controls for fan speed and timer, so I probably won't be installing the app. The remote can do everything I can think of for now. The only thing I'd like to change for now is if had a 30 minute timer setting for when I use it putting me to sleep, minimum now is one hour, additional time is in one hour steps.

The bottom of the round body (10.6" wide) of the fan is about 31 inches off the floor at max height adjustment, just enough clearance for where I need it.
