it's a great sound bar overall but I wouldnt pay this price since it's been out for a few years already. I got 2 sets used for $600 and $300 from fb market place. At average of $500 it is a bargain for how much power you get

I bought their Shockwafe 7.1.4 a few years ago, and for the most part, it's been quite good overall. Now comparing mine to a Samsung HW-Q990F, I'd probably say the Samsung is the better system, but this 9.2 is giving another good subwoofer for the money so I'd take this one over the Samsung.

Even during their hayday, only highly rated equipment from Nakamichi was Draon Cassette player though it is rather legendary though to just say "Highly rated". Their name has been sold to some investment group out of China a while ago and they have been licensing the name all over cheap crap.
I am not familiar with their soundbar but considering this price is roughly on par with Bose one listed recently, I would rather go with Bose or maybe get a Samsung Q series for even cheaper when they are on sale.

I was a proud owner of the Dragon tape deck. All their stuff nowadays is not the same.

Anyone saying these are bad has flat out never used one. This whole line of sound bars is pretty solid for the money. Any of the ones with dual subs (like this one) are excellent and will be a big step up from the vast majority of sound bars. And this is coming from someone with a full dedicated home theater

Could you comment more on the audio quality? I've read that it's just more boomy and doesn't really do the mids well. So, for example, challenging to hear dialogue clearly.
