Used it 3-4 times so far (brought $200 worth). 1 restaurant didn't take it as their POS/inkind was down but other resturants were smooth. Great value at 35% off
I'll have to remember to ask before dining next time, thanks and rep'd. There are only a few restaurants around me that take it, so I'd be so peeved if our favorite of them that we go to every few months couldn't take it. These InKind deals are really the only way we can afford to go out to fancier places.

The key is to buy only what you can spend right away. 35% off is still pretty nice but the restaurants come and go without notice. Also worth mentioning, these credits work for food + tax, but tips must be covered with a separate payment method.
This is true. The three places near us that we like are all tied together. Another is just an average Thai place. We'd go there if the others closed, but it's the more expensive oyster shack we really rely on these discounts to make date nights affordable!

Good advice - I started my inkind journey right before stacking ended and loaded up at Costco. Now I have a lot of credit and keep getting offers via surveys, etc.

I thought you could still stack gift cards and coupons. Still a decent deal, but not nearly as good as it used to be. FYI, I have seen a lot of restaurants that I liked disappear from InKind, although there still seems a decent number in my area.

I wouldn't say it kills the deal. You're still getting not insignificant free money via this deal.
Yes. Back when you could stack, it was a little bit too broken. It was probably always part of of the plan to take away the ability to stack. I was dissapointed when I found out the hard way at a restaurant. But it makes sense.

you CAN still stack with restaurant programs/rewards as far as I know. so if you have a promo at the business, you can still use it and then pay with inKind
ymmv, I saw a business expressly forbid using InKind with their particular promo.

It's a good deal, but the number of participating restaurants is kind of low.

Yup.. this is the crux of how Inkind changed its system recently. You either use Inkind wallet balance or you can use your own credit card + the offer (i.e $10 off $25 etc). Kills the deal. Inkind needs to either change back or prepare to disappear!
Wow, I didn't realize that. Is that very recent?

Getting an InKind refund is hard...

Thank you for contacting inKind support, we are happy to assist!

Refunds for inKind Cash balances are available for the amount of the paid value of the balance, calculated based on the current wallet balance and purchase path(s). Following calculation and confirmation, inKind will zero out your inKind Cash balance and issue a refund check to you.

Can you please update this ticket with the following information -

Name
Mailing Address
Confirmation of Associated Email with inKind Account
Purchase Path(s) for inKind Cash (eg, inKind directly, Costco, Amazon, other retailer, etc.)

Once the above is shared, we can provide the refund amount and proceed with the process.

Stacking coupons and gift cards was the only thing that made it worth while. InKind is dead to me now

their website for looking at restaurants is the worst, almost non-functional. Not going to purchase anything from a company who can't even get the basics.

You click on the icons & see the names. Then click on the next, etc. 35% off is worth a little effort.
