The bundled tools in the other Ryobi HP battery combos posted earlier today don't interest me. Plus I recently acquired 3 HP batteries to go along with my other 5 non-HP packs. But the brushless 18 gauge brad nailer has been at or near the top of my Ryobi wishlist for a while now. The bare tool is currently listed for the same $200 price as this combo kit with the 3 batteries and charger. So it's a no-brainer if you want this nailer and can use more batteries. But for me? Pull the trigger now even though I don't need any more batteries or wait for a deal on the bare tool? Decisions, decisions ...

I now silently judge everyone else's trim. It's always bad and I'm annoyed that someone got paid to do it. Baseboards, doors, and windows are such an easy task
I just bought this because my trusty old central pneumatic air Brad nailer was struggling with 3/4" maple face frames that I'm attaching to a plywood carcass. This ryobi unit is an absolute beast. I had to dial it up to max pressure and maximum depth, but I just sunk a few dozen 1-1/2" brads with flawless and consistent countersinks.
