Any one know how good this would be in a garage? I like to have how-to youtube videos on when I'm knocking out DIY projects, don't want to have the screen washed out by the sun coming in from the open garage door however....

that's a big garage tv. Wish I had that much wall space still free in my garage!

The only TV that has ever failed on me (backlight failed) was a Vizio. Never again.

I don't think they have released a new model on some time.

With the Walmart purchase they are releasing Onn powered by Vizio sets

Great, then it'll be a great upgrade from the budget 65" Vizio that has been serving me faithfully since Black Friday.

Fun fact: Walmart bought Vizio a year and a half ago and stopped selling it anywhere else, so this is like an in-house "private label" brand now.

Our 20yr old got a Vizio TV was part of her Christmas gifts. That TV is almost 19yrs old...not one issue other than being "outdated!" I've asked if she was ready to upgrade? But she 💓 her Vizio.

I bought a Vizio 55" non-4k for this price about 10 years ago. Been fine for the most part. Rarely it will lock up or no sound, but turn it off and back on and it is good to go for another 6-12 months. LOL

It'll probably be the same as with their ONN brand. Hit & Miss with product's quality and performance due to being outsourced and produced by various contract manufacturers in China.

I used to be in the electronic business and I would advice people to use Rtings' reviews as one of several tools to make a buying decision.
People see it as Thee Holy Bible of TV ratings. They have at times given TVs with great picture quality low ratings due to petty issues.... high reflection...poor viewing angle...subpar lag/response.
