TVs are all fine these days. I'm sure it looks great. TVs are disposable. If it's not oled it's all the same to me.

I have a high end 75" Vizio that is 8 years old and still get compliments about how good the picture is. My son however bought the 65" version the same year and he had nothing but problems. TVs are a crap shoot.

Fun fact: Walmart bought Vizio a year and a half ago and stopped selling it anywhere else, so this is like an in-house "private label" brand now.
Onn TV with extra steps... 🤔

VIZIO used to be a good solid discount brand a number of years ago. They have really gone downhill the last 4 to 5 years.

I've had this model for about 7 months, and my family loves it. Great picture, no issues with it at all. The only thing that would drop my rating from 5-star to 4.9-star is that sometimes when our Roku wakes the TV up, the display will sometimes switch from the Roku over to the Vizio Home screen. Not even sure that counts as an "issue", and it's easy enough to fix by simply pressing any button on the Roku remote. It's the only thing that I would consider to not be basically perfect.

For $400, this is a great buy.

2023 model... other than the billion colors rtings says it's a poor tv
Vizio VQD75M‑08 is a 2025 model, not 2023.

What do you mean? Does Walmart have ads on their TVs now?

Not sure if you heard, but since Walmart acquired Vizio, they put out a press release w/ coded language w/ statements such as "VIZIO created an advertising business that has continued to grow while enabling marketers to reach consumers at scale," which implied to me that they would be taking advantage of the opportunity from their acquisition by marketing directly to consumers, similar to how YouTube curates targeted ads in between a viewer's streaming session.

Ok, so it's not necessarily shoving ads in your face, right?
