I have something similar I purchased at Costco for $39. I love it and it comes in handy all the time. I wish this had the same connector as the one I purchased. It screws on to the tire stem. I like it much better than this type of connector.

Get one that works from your car cigarette lighter. These battery inflators do not last.

This is so true. I've burned through four different types of these over the last 5 years or so. I think on two of them, the battery stopped holding a charge, which wasn't a huge deal because every single one I have used works significantly better and faster when plugged in to the 12V with the engine running.

One burned itself out, which was partially my fault because I was refilling from empty after plugging a hole and it overheated. The hose can get extremely hot extremely fast. Another blew itself up because I accidentally used the wrong adapter for the 12V. Another had the hose break because the valve core was clogged up. And the last one just stopped working.

They are pretty inexpensive and I like keeping one in each of our cars just in case.

I will say that they work great on our bikes on battery power.

The most recent one I bought has been working really well and is very similar to this one - can charge via USB c (but it won't work while also plugged in to the USB c) but it will when plugged into the 12V which is what I typically do.

Definitely, definitely get one that has a battery, a USB c charging port, and a 12V adapter, so probably not this one.

I was recently looking at replacing one of the older ones and the battery size seems to be all over the place. It might be not even be accurate, because I have NEVER had one fill a tire even close to as fast as the listings usually claim, so the claims about battery size might not be accurate either.

So overall, this is not a good deal, good product, or good price. Can usually find one that is similar and well reviewed and has a 12v adapter for ~$12

Here's one for $10
