Ryobi's 18V ONE plus portable inverter is a handy way to get a 3 prong outlet from an 18V battery, and it can even run a Traeger, a fan, auger, and controller for a while. It also works well for small jobs like charging a phone in the garage or powering LED lights, with a 4Ah battery lasting about 5 hours in light use. The main limits are that it is an older modified sine wave model, not the newer pure sine wave version, and it will not handle heating elements for long. The $65 kit adds a 2Ah battery and charger, but the deal looks less compelling next to lower priced inverter only options.
The inverter can run a Traeger grill for practical outdoor cooking use.
The inverter can power low-draw electronics like phone charging and LED light setups.
The inverter can run a fan, auger, and interface for a limited period.
The kit can provide a usable modified-sine-wave output for some electronics without noticeable issues.
The $65 kit may not be a slick deal because an inverter-only option can be found around $25 clearance.
The inverter is only useful when you need a 3-pronged outlet, since USB-C power banks can be a better fit.
The inverter may not handle heating elements, since heating loads run briefly before pellets start.
The kit appears to be an older modified-sine-wave model that can behave like a square wave and may not suit sensitive devices.

how does one obtain this metric?
Edit: The inverter only model I got for $25 is 150W RYi150BGVNM. It was next to the $65 unit. The newer 150W inverter for $69 is a pure sine wave, which neither the $25 model nor the OPs $65 w/battery unit are.
