Kirkland Signature Flex-Tech kitchen trash bags are a strong-value 13 gallon option that stands out for durability and fit. The bags are described as solid, with Flex-Tech holding up better than regular Glad and rarely ripping, even when overfilled. Long-term use comes with very few failures, and the 200 count stretches a household for a long time. The main caveat is pricing and availability, since this warehouse deal is not common and online pricing runs higher. A dependable bulk buy if the size works for your bin.

  • Kirkland Flex-Tech trash bags can handle heavy, overfilled kitchen garbage without ripping for long stretches of use.

  • Costco in-warehouse pricing can work out to around 10 cents per bag, which supports a low per-use cost.

  • Costco online ordering can still provide a discount, though it is typically less than the in-warehouse deal.

  • Kirkland Flex-Tech bags reportedly outperform regular Glad bags and can avoid rips without needing an upgrade.

  • The deal may be less compelling for shoppers who only buy online because delivery fees can raise the total cost.

  • HDX bags may fall off taller trash bin rims after a few days when trash is pushed down, even if they resist ripping.

  • The online price can show as $17.99 instead of $15.99, which reduces the expected savings.

  • The $4 off promotion can be relatively small over time, especially if the deal is missed for a household that uses bags slowly.

If you're someone who only shops Costco online, these bags are also currently discounted...just not as much...$2 off ($17.99)

$17.99 + $3 for 2-day delivery fee. I posted about this in the OP. Big Grin
Still around 10 cents a bag, which is not terrible at all.

Nothing wrong with these - they are adequate. Whether being used for garbage or impromptu luggage when your wife kicks you out at 1am for aggressively violating the rotisserie chicken (again), they'll get the job done.
Side note: baby, I promise I won't do it again until the next time I do it again. Your momma was right, them chickens is too tenptin', and I'll never get that monkey off my back - BUT these bags sure do make cleanup easy when I'm done turnin' that chicken into a carnival sideshow.

Regular Glad bags are adequate. These are Flex-Tech bags. Much better than adequate for a kitchen trash bag. Never had one rip. Glad bags are another story unless you upgrade to their Force Flex bags. But I hear you on that chicken carcass! Go to town.

Yes. Depending on which way you meant, there are two different ways:

Starting from the Costco link I put in OP and using Costco Same-Day via Instacart option, you pay $18.15 after $2 off discount.

OR directly through Insatacart for $17.59.

Either way, it's cheaper than ordering directly from Costco with their $17.99 plus $3 for 2-Day Delivery added.

Imo these are even better than Sam's version
Maybe it's me, but I notice the Members Mark bags go on sale a little more frequently than the Kirkland ones.

Never had a bad Members Mark or Kirkland trash bag... I buy whichever is on sale when I need them - 200 bags lasts a while

This is the deal to go for if you have a costco membership. These bags, sams club bags and Home depot (HDX) bags are all solid, never had any issues.
SD loves to push the glad bags from amazon and though they are good, the price is never anywhere near costco, sams club or home depot pricing.

Amazon basics bags are utter garbage, always have issues with them
This is a big misconception imo. They are great bags, and this deal doesn't happen often, but this is $4 off, which for some people is a year or more of usage. That's $0.33/month. On the other hand, you can buy a dinner item on sale that you might go through once a month and save $4 a package, ie $48/year. So if you're going to miss a deal on a great item, this is the one to miss, because you're only going to be penalized a quarter and a dime per month.
