Of all the sound bars I've heard in big box stores, friend's houses, and finally audio trade shows, the AMBEO soundbar MAX by Sennheiser is the only one that convincingly sounds 3D to me. It has a good amount of inputs too: unlike the Sonos my mom uses, this gets a variety of physical inputs (eArc and two standard HDMI, Optical, RCA), also supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and with WiFi or Ethernet internet it can also stream music directly from Spotify or Tidal.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard this PLUS model shown here. Sennheiser's tech is good, the difference here is the trade off of smaller speakers for a more compact device. I still expect it to sound better than a Samsung or LG soundbar though, and be a bit bigger. I wouldn't want to use it in a room with vaulted ceilings, but it does automatically configure itself with built-in microphones, and is simple to set up.
I would recommend looking up the size dimensions and really measuring your space; it is a pretty big speaker.
