I don't think cedar is typically painted since it has oils in the wood. But I could be wrong. I just bought this one a month ago the last time woot had it. I'll take a look at the manual.

Way cheaper than on Lowe's and Amazon, weight limit of 500lb isn't great, several reports of it being ruined easily by the weather and basically rotting away. I'd pass and just cough up the extra $50-100 bucks at Home Depot.

I have bought this one too and its hardwood pretty nice quality.
